A Letter from the President—Kathy Curran

August 2, 2012

Recently, we decided to eliminate the Sabbat service bulletins. This change is a more conscious effort on our part to honor Mother Earth by conserving paper!  The bulletin format, the list of current advertisers and all of the songs & prayers used in our service are available at the yahoo group site. However, one needs to be a member of the Temple to access that group.

To become a member please check out our website

In addition, there are Temple Sabbat books available at the low cost of $10 cash.  You can purchase these books at the Sabbat services or at Goddess Blessed. These are in a limited supply; so if you are interested get yours soon!

Thanks for your continued support of our Goddess Temple!

Thank you from the President—Kathy Curran

To the Temple Members:

Thank you for all that you did to make our ‘chili  cook -off’ fundraiser a success!! Thanks to all of the Chili Cooks and all of you that donated bakery, we could not have done it without you! A special thanks to all who came and purchased chili and our baked goods without you our fundraisers would not be successful.

Our Temple is only as strong as our members!

Remember we need you to volunteer!

Our goal is to one day have a brick and mortar Goddess Temple to worship in, the stronger we are as a community the closer we get to that dream!

Why tithe to the Goddess Temple!?

I believe it is important to support where one is spiritually fed and this can be done either by volunteering your time, your talents, or donating money.  I believe that giving in this manner increases what is given to you!

The Goddess Temple is a grass roots fledgling enterprise and certainly benefits from all that support her.  We are engaged in fundraising events to finance a building for the Temple.

We are presently selling cloth shopping bags and travel mugs to raise funds. We will also have a spaghetti dinner this fall.  One of our new adventures is in creating a Goddess Calendar; this will be our second edition this year.

As a founding Temple; we don’t have a ‘parent’ organization to assist with these goals.  We are solely dependent on our members!!

So, remember to give thanks back to the Goddess!

Merry meet!

Just a reminder how important each and every member is to our Goddess Temple.  Your active participation assists us with the growth and development of your Temple.  Everyone’s input is encouraged and needed.  Our first meeting of 2010 is coming up and committees will be forming for this year activities.  Please consider volunteering on one (or more) of these committees.  Also please try to attend the Temple’s Sabbat Services (only eight a year!) and the Temple’s full moon meditations and potlucks (only twelve a year!)  Our Temple is only as vibrant and energetic as the energies we contribute!!

Blessed Be!

Merry Meet

A Blessing/Dedication to the Goddess!

At the Goddess Temple we offer many services to our members and the community at large.  One of these services is the ritual of Wiccaning (baptism).  And this ritual is not reserved just for babies but for anyone of any age who desires to dedicate themselves to the Goddess!

(a sample of the ritual)

I,_________________, stand before this community and the Goddess seeking to dedicate myself to Her.  I promise that from this day forward I shall live my life in a way that honors Her.  My eyes will reflect Her, my lips will speak Her words, my heart will work with love from Her and my feet will follow the path She sets for me. I declare this is so, so mote it be! Blessed be!!
